People indicates that she twisted her neck and banged her face. Karina was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center over concerns of a dislocated jaw and whiplash. Fans likely will not know what the future holds for Karina and Jacoby's partnership and semi-finals dance until “Dancing With the Stars” showtime on Monday evening. While it is not unusual for pros and stars to have to dance injured, this incident sounds serious and frightening. There is no word as of yet who might be lining up to step in for Smirnoff should a substitute be necessary....
